Entertainment Law

As in sports law, Joe McCulloch had opportunities early in his 40 years of practice to work with musicians and music promoters, authors, and the film industry. Joe McCulloch has provided legal advice in the production of concerts including the Rolling Stones, Farm Aid, and other acts and productions. Joe McCulloch has also provided management and career advice to bands and individuals including James Brown as well as other music artists and artist managers across the spectrum on record label contracts, copyright issues, and representation in litigation matters, and served as adjunct legal counsel to Hootie and the Blowfish.

Over the years, the range of experience in other areas of the law, including contract and criminal law, have provided a helpful intersection of knowledge to the sports and entertainment clients.
